Security Council
SC
The Security Council (UNSC) plays a powerful role in the United Nations (UN): to maintain peace and security in the world. Consisting only of 15 member states, 5 permanent members, and 10 biannually elected non-permanent members, UNSC has the unique power to enforce actions such as international sanctions, peacekeeping operations, and the use of military forces. The WJMUN team recommends experienced delegates who are ready for heated discussions to choose this committee.
